My father is from the Middle East and although I was proficient in Arabic when I was a kid, I stopped speaking it daily when I went away to prep school; so with the exception of some words and phrases my Arabic has been severely lacking and my father isnt pleased. Ive downloaded countless "learn Arabic apps" and they were all terrible. I decided Id do one more search and found this app and it is fantastic. The accent is spot on, the words are accurate and you can learn at your own pace, and the Arabic script is equipped with diacritics. This is the best Arabic app Ive found bar none.
I have a Creative Imagination, and I cannot think of a better app such as Nemo, I have recommended to a large amount of people in social media. أنا سررت يا شكرًا شكرًا جزيلا
This is a great tool! I feel I really learned something. Showed my friend who is Arabic speaker, She even said it was a great app !
I really like this app. Ive been in Jordan for a couple of days and the app is very accurate. The only problem is that when I use the player the app quits, and the that is frustrating because I cant practice with the voice recorder. Otherwise its great for vocabulary & phrases
It will be the best investment It will help me with travel and friends
Several different ways to practice. Good language accuracy.
Ive been using for close to a month. This app is great! I love the flash cards, and the fact that you can set it to how many words you want to learn a day. I love it. So much that I went and unlocked the entire series for 9.99. Its worth every penny.
I am a language nerd who has spent years scouring sources for language learning tools, especially for these types of languages that are particularly distant to English, and in just one week I have learned so much from this app! I keep it on "play mode" while I drive or get ready in the morning and learn a handful of words and phrases. It has many options and vocabulary packs to focus on, it keeps you connected to your "studies", and tracks your progress. They have this app for many languages and I cant wait to make major leeway in Arabic and try another. NEMO seems like it will be the fabulous ticket to connect you to very foreign languages.
This app has been the biggest help in learning a new language. Really, I cant say enough good things about it. I plan to buy the full version. Its worth every penny!! I love how you can adjust so many parts of it. You can adjust the speed of speech, the time between words, how fast new words are introduced. You even get to choose what words to learn. I have tried several other apps to learn languages. This one exceeds them all.
Ive searched through apps over and over and by far this is my favorite. The flash cards are perfect for practicing to read and write in both the standard script and Roman display. The app also provides listening, reading and audio speed speaking tools.
Ive been browsing many Arabic apps and this was the most fun and helpful of all of them. I love the quiz mode because you get to record yourself and compare it to the instructor. I also like that you can exclude words since my boyfriend has pointed out some differences in the dialect and usage of certain words (his family is from Syria), so I do have to check with him when learning words. I applaud the app for being the best one Ive found so far :)
I like that you can learn the days set of words in different ways (e.g., English to Arabic, Arabic to English). Suggestion: It would be nice if the app indicated which dialect they use for those of us unfamiliar.
I love this app. I have paid for the full version on my iPhone and my iPad. I do wish, however, that the app would indicate which dialect it is using for each word, phrase, and sentence -as I have noticed from cross referencing that it differs tremendously.
This app is easy to customize and intuitive to use. I have found some of the pronunciation is a bit different than how I have heard words in real life-but still quite close and much better than no exposure to these words
Look forward to opening the the app.
Ive tried a lot of different apps for several different languages and I found this one to be the best for my learning style and goals. If you learn only 10 or 50 phrase approach is useful. Great for learning written arabic. Have no idea what accent of arabic this is in though. Egyptian? It would be a real plus to be able to switch between dialects in the app and hear different regional speakers. In app purchase only the ones you want to download...?
Great for quickly picking up essential vocabulary.
Honestly the interface is superb. And adding the vowels makes it twice as amazing. Thanks for such a great app :)
Just started this app and it is looking to be a good intro to a difficult language. I am enjoying the challenge and love the audio.
